HANDCRAFTED CLOTH-PATTERN OVAL DISH

Description

The pattern mimics textile — a loose grid, hand-painted, slightly imprecise in the way woven cloth is. The texture sits low against the clay rather than sharply raised, creating a soft shift between highlight and shadow across the surface. Slight variations in the linework keep the pattern from reading as perfectly uniform.

Because the surface is unglazed, it feels exactly like what it is: clay. It will absorb moisture — keep it dry.

Once placed on a table or shelf, the elongated oval form introduces a horizontal balance to the surrounding space.
