SMOKE BLUE GLASS VASE
Description
The form points straight to WMF’s Trio Turmalin line, associated with Wilhelm Wagenfeld. Even without the stamp, it follows the exact logic of a designer who questioned how a functional object could also be worth looking at.
The color moves from deep blue at the base to nearly clear at the top. It shifts noticeably depending on the surrounding light — appearing cooler near windows, and darker when placed against heavier surfaces. Tiny bubbles and slight internal distortions remain visible inside the glass.
